I have an onkyo 1009 and the onkyo m282 amp. I want to use the front high and wide with 9.1. Is it possible to wire all 9 speakers and use the pre amp out fronts to the m282 back to the fronts for bi amping? I have polk tsi 500 fronts.

When bi-amping with this receiver; the TX-NR 1009 will drive up to a 7.1 speaker output and you will need to change the SPEAKER SETTINGS submenu from NORMAL to Bi-Amp. Also when bi-amping- you will need to use the FRONT and SURR BACK speakers. So you will NOT be able to use the M-282 amp for the FRONT speaker channels. You will need to utilize another PRE-OUT speaker terminal besides FRONT and SURR BACK terminals. Also understand that any speaker channels already connected via speaker wiring will also disable the PRE-OUT channel as well. This is another reason why you are NOT able to use the FRONT PRE-OUTs for the M-282 amp.
