Firmware Update for TX-NR616

I just purchased this receiver. I went to Onkyo's webite and downloaded the latest firmware update (10-09-12) on my jump drive (unzipped the files).
I placed it the usb port on the receiver, turned it on, went to usb on the receiver, went to hardware, went to firmware update. The screen only showed the latest firmware that was installed and no icon/command to install new firmware. What did I do wrong?

What is the firmware version you are seeing on the screen under the submenu SETUP> FIRMWARE UPDATE? Did the USB input show the "NOW INITIALIZING" message before installing the USB flash drive onto the receiver? Did you witness any error messages when attempting to upload the F/W update onto the receiver? If the new firmware is definitely on the flash drive and plugged into receiver USB port...hold down the USB button on the front of the receiver and hold down the power button at the same time. The prompt will ask if you want to download the firmware from your USB drive. Hit yes and install.
