Ipod Connection

Post  Kevind on Thu Oct 11, 2012 8:24 pm

When I connect my Ipod to the front of my TX-NR616 the receiver states "No Storage" Any one have an answer? Up date. I have tried a newer Ipod and it works fine. Could it be that my old one is just to old?

What model and generation is the iPod you are connecting to this receiver that you are having an issue? Have you also tried swapping the USB data cable as well with the iPod in question?

I have a Ipod click wheel 4th generation. I used the same cable with both Ipods. The mini worked fine.

Unfortunately; the following 4 generation iPod devices are NOT supported to be compatible with our receivers:

- 4th gen. Click Wheel
- 4th gen. (Color display)
- 4th gen. iPod video

So your iPod is unfortunately not compatible. For a listing of compatible iPod devices.
