android app

i recently upgraded the app on my android phone and now it can no longer detect my HT-RC270.
the one reason i purchased this receiver was because i could use the app.
my receiver is in a place that a remote can not hit and the app was perfect.
it worked prior to this recent upgrade (1.40) and now i can not use the receiver at all.
please post a link to the older version so people who are having problems can download and use the app like they were prior.
there are lots of people on the android market complaining.

How you uninstall and re-installed the Remote App? Have you also done a soft reset on the receiver as well (unplug from power source for approx 3-5 minutes)? Your message has been forwarded to the appropriate representatives and department for further review and research. Thank you again for your input; as someone from the Engineering department will research your suggestion.
