No HDMI Priority setting available for HDMI Main & Sub for TX-NR5010
Just received a 5010 to replace my 5007. I find out that 5010 doesn't offer priority setting on HDMI output main and HDMI output sub anymore. My TV doesn't support deep color while my projector does. When connecting both devices to 5010, the receiver doesn't send out 36 bit signal to my projector even with the TV turned off. (5007 will send 36 bit signal to projector when I set it as first priority.). Any advise? Is there anyway to get around this problem? Is Onkyo able to make this setting available via firmware update? I see this setting is also available on 5009 manuel that share the same video chipset as 5010.

Re: No HDMI Priority setting available for HDMI Main & Sub for TX-NR5010
Correct- this option has been removed from the 2012 models- where you previously had the option to select the following:
- BOTH (HDMI MAIN- as the priority)
- BOTH (HDMI SUB- as the priority)
Although the video chipset mirrors many features found with the 2011 models; this feature has been removed from the HDMI configuration of the receiver for the 2012 product line. Your message has been forwarded to the appropriate representatives and department for further review and research. Thank you again for your input; as someone from the Engineering department will research your suggestion.
