I sent my unit to repair because sound cut out and in, when adjusting base or trebble when i got it back my receiver does not respond to some operation from the remote . At this point i donot now if is the remote or the receiver if is the remote is it cover under warranty? if so can i get a replacement?. Also when i whent to pick up the receiver onkyo said that this is a normal operation that sound cuts out/in when adjusting base or trebble well this is a 2000 dollar pice of equipment and you cannot adjust base or trebble i use profetional sound systems and have never seen this before please fix this problem

Re: remote , trebble and base
Where have you shipped your receiver for warranty repair? Which authorized service center will be handling this repair? Are you pressing the [REMOTE MODE] RECEIVER button on the remote controller BEFORE pressing a command button always? The remote controller would also be covered under warranty and can be evaluated/ replaced at the service center as well. Were you referring to a TX-NR 5008 receiver having this issue? I have tested this with both a TX-NR 1008 thru TX-NR 5008 and also using the Onkyo RC-773M remote controller and haven't noticed any issues currently. I would like more information to share with our on-site engineer for further evaluation. Please reply back via PM with all pertinent information.
